Welcome to Disability Services

Dutchess Community College provides a supportive learning environment for students with documented disabilities. The goal of The Office of Disability Services is to ensure accessible educational opportunities. The purpose of this office is not to create advantages for students with disabilities, but to eliminate any competitive disadvantages that may exist.

Students with disabilities attend regular college classes and must meet the technical standards for their course requirements in their degree or certificate programs to ensure the level of the quality education expected of all degree candidates. Students must be able to function independently and are responsible for informing the college of their needs.

We are located in the Student Services Building, Room 303C. Our regular office hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Summer hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
