Auction 2007

“Going once, going twice, SOLD…” and what a wonderful success the Fifth Annual Benefit Auction “Festifall” 2007 was.  The atmosphere was very festive with all of the beautiful chrysanthemums and autumnal flair adding to the picturesque setting at Dutchess Golf and Country Club.  We have been hearing wonderful comments and we are very pleased with the outcome of the festivities.

The event was held on October 12th and raised over $56,000 and drew together about 100 Alumni and friends of Dutchess Community College. The proceeds raised benefit student scholarships, faculty/staff mini-grants, and other educational enhancements to our campus.

We could not have done it without the support provided by our donors, participants, and volunteers.  The items donated were magnificent, with a wide range of unique items and events for people to bid on.  Rob and Sue Doyle of Absolute Auction and Realty made the evening fun and eventful with their auctioneering. The dinner journals were provided by Bill Grogg and Net Pub. Our co-chairs, Amy Sherman and Patti Zakow did a wonderful job of pulling it all together.

Again, we could not have had such a successful event without the support of all that were involved.
